Vidyut Jammwal To Play a Visually Impaired Person In Aankhen 2

   The actor took up the role as it  challenges him both as an actor and a martial artist

Vidyut will be playing a blind man in the film who will be seen performing dare devilry stunts. And for the same, the actor plans to interact with the visually challenged people to get into the skin of the character. He has also begun work on designing the action for his role in this film .

Vidyut is a big fan of Aneez Bazmee's work and when the film was offered to him, he could not say no to it. The audience will get to see a very different side of the actor in the film as he will be seen performing a lot of action as a visually challenged person. 

Gaurang Doshi’s Aankhen 2 will also see Vidyut sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.

The shooting of the film will commence from April and will be shot for three months extensively.

Movies that portray father- child relationship beautifully!

This is the one special relationship which is often given less of an importance in the movies and in real life too. Well, there’s always an exception. Numerous movies which have depicted these father child relationship beautifully. Let’s take a look at the movies this year which have managed to sway the audiences and leave them teary eyed. 

“Rogue One” tells the story of a group of unlikely heroes, who in a time of conflict band together on a mission to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Empire’s ultimate weapon of destruction. This key event in the Star Wars timeline brings together ordinary people who choose to do extraordinary things, and in doing so, become part of something greater than themselves

Jyn Erso played by Felicity Jones, was taken away as a child from her father, played by Mads Mikkelsen, and in the iconic Star Wars films, the relationship between fathers and their children is always a significant theme. Iconic villain Darth Vader is the father of Jedi Luke Skywalker, and this relationship is integral to the films. 

 

1.       Dangal

It is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. It stars Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught wrestling to his daughters Geeta Phogat and Babita Kumari. The former is India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg). "Dangal" is the Hindi term for "a wrestling competition". Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra play the role of the two daughters who have managed to woo the audiences already as seen in the trailers and the songs.

2.       Finding Dory

Dory is a wide-eyed, blue tang fish who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so. The one thing she can remember is that she somehow became separated from her parents as a child. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic adventure to find them. Her journey brings her to the Marine Life Institute, a conservatory that houses diverse ocean species. Dory now knows that her family reunion will only happen if she can save mom and dad from captivity. 

3.       Shivaay

Shivaay is a story about a father, whose eight-year-old daughter gets kidnapped by a human trafficking gang in Bulgaria, and how he almost single-handedly rescues the girl from the antagonists. The movie beautifully captures the father-daughter relationship, Ajay devgn and Abigail Eames' onscreen father - daughter relation was a perfect match to the story

4.       Kapoor and Sons 

This is more of a family drama but it has father-son dynamics intricately woven into the plot and how subtly they are highlighted. There is a sequence in the film where Fawad Khan discovers his father Rajat Kapoor cheating on his mother with another woman. He angrily confronts his father and rebukes him for his behavior. This is a very mature take on father-son equation and how children eventually shoulder their responsibilities. Full marks for this.

5.       Piku

This is easily one of the best father-daughter movies in recent times! Bhaskor Banerjee played by Amitabh Bachchan is a cantankerous old man who is suffering from constipation. He is like a needy and attention seeking child constantly clinging to his daughter Piku, played by Deepika Padukone. The rest of the film is about how the dynamics unfold between the father-daughter duo as they undertake a trip to Kolkata. Much wow.

“We didn’t want to sexualize Jyn”- Actress Felicity Jones speaks on equal pay, feminism and Rogue One!

Rogue One star Felicity Jones is opening up about feminism and the joy of getting to play a female character “who’s not just thinking about [romantic] relationships,” in Star Wars: Rogue One. The actress got candid about the rarity of “full-sided” female characters in film, and her experience playing resistance fighter Jyn Erso in the new standalone Star Wars film.

 “I’ve always been a feminist, and what I love in my work is being able to explore a full-sided woman and not patronize her,” she says. “Particularly with Jyn, it’s such a rare opportunity to be able to play a female who’s not just thinking about [romantic] relationships.”

The actress credits her mother for teaching her early on that a woman should not be defined by her looks.

“My mother was in the kind of late-‘60s, early-‘70s origins of female emancipation,” said the Theory of Everything star. “And she was very much like, ‘You’re not going to be defined by how you look. It’s going to be about who you are and what you do.’”

 “Everyone wanted to create a character that was not in any way objectified,” said Jones. “We didn’t want to sexualize Jyn… We don’t even see Jyn’s arms! That’s not her priority. She’s a survivor, and she has a mission to complete.”

The 33-year-old British actress is also the latest actress to speak openly about the problem, following the likes of Jennifer Lawrence.

"I want to be paid fairly for the work that I'm doing," Jones told while promoting Rogue One

"That's what every single woman around the world wants," she said. "We want to be paid on parity with a man in a similar position. And I think it's important to talk about it."

Karan Singh Grover to reunite with director Bhushan Patel for another thriller which will go on floor in 2017.

Gajanan Surendrasa Shobha Kalburgi of Legendary Man Entertainment Pvt Ltd have signed Karan Singh Grover for his maiden untitled film to be directed by Bhushan Patel.Karan Singh Grover and Bhushan Patel have worked together in Alone."Bhushan and Karan had been discussing the film since Alone was in production. The film will be shot in Mumbai with two more schedules in Malaysia and Bangkok.Reportedly, Bhushan Patel had been working on two scripts -a horror and a thriller -but wants to kick off the thriller first.Sandeep Harish Kewlani is associate producer of the film.Auditions are going on for the lead lady in the film.
