The Creative Diva" coming with short film MERI ROCKSTAR WALI JEANS

MERI ROCKSTAR WALI  JEANS - a short film by ex Model and Zoom TV Anchor turned writer-director Susheel Jangira is making  waves. This 20 mins film currently doing the rounds of various National and International film festivals, is a winner of “BEST SCREENPLAY AWARD” at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Film Festival, Pune. BEST FILM at Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (in Women's Films Category) and is an Official Selection at UK Monthly Film Festival and DOFF. Film is known with its English title ROCKING MY ROCKSTAR JEANS in International Arena. With no big banner or star power, just one woman Army hemming this project. Meri Rockstar Wali Jeans  deals with a very sensitive subject, is a poignant story of Bhanoo, a 10 year old girl played by a very talented child artist Taiyaba Mansuri and the relationship she shares with her Teacher Didi, played by Jangira herself. Chandrakala Satam plays Bhanoo's mother in the film.

The film title is so catchy and original that it has generated so much of curiosity about it. So, what's the significance of Rockstar Jeans? “let the film release, people will come to know on their own, but its not the usual story about a little girl who aspires to be a singer or a dancer, we have seen enough films on the same theme” says Jangira .

This film also features a very beautiful song written by Jangira and composed by Rahul Jain, a perfect sort of an anthem for girls to dance on.  “I am a natural and intuitive writer. I have been writing since my school time. Jangira wrote the lyrics in one sitting within half an hour and screenplay in five days after a month's research work. Don’t go by her looks. She is brain and raw talent all the way, with stunning looks and height she is truly a Creative Diva in Bollywood.
