Panch Marg of Versova is renamed as Sangeet Mahamahopadhyay Pt. Maniramji Marg. The unveiling of Sangeet Mahamahopadhyay Pt Maniram Ji Marg saw a host of celebrities- Mayor of Mumbai Vishwanath Mahadeshwar and Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar were the Chief Guests. Pt.Maniramji's youngest brother and foremost disciple Pt. Jasraj ji is in New Jersey and was connected to Video Conference throughout the function. reminiscing his younger days remembered the times he had spent with Pt. Maniram Ji with love and reverence. Pt. Hridaynath Ji has the vivid memory of the 3 Pandit brothers' 1st performance he attended. His respect for the erudite musician was evident. There was the brief melodious performance by Pt. Jasraj ji's students, viz. Rattan Mohan Sharma, Ankita Joshi, Anand Sharma, Swar Sharma, amongst many others which left the audience spellbound. Durga Jasraj strung the entire evening together with personal anecdotes and threw light on the contribution of the great legend as a vocalist and composer. He composed the iconic "Mata Kalika" among many others...
