Rattan Mohan Sharma, Ankita Joshi, Anand Sharma, Swar Sharma, amongst many others which left the audience spellbound. Durga Jasraj strung the entire evening together with personal anecdotes and threw light on the contribution of the great legend as a vocalist and composer. He composed the iconic "Mata Kalika" among many others...

Madushree has proved her mettle once again with the song Kahna So Ja Zara in #Baahubali2: The Conclusion'. Composer #MMKreem decided last minute to include a song by her on the album, which she believes has altered the course of her life. #Madhushree believes that the track is Lord  Krishna's  blessing for her and it's miraculous that she landed a chance to lend her voice to it.

"We all pray for miracles but miss them when they happen. We usually associate our achievements with our efforts and forget that we had asked for a miracle to happen. If you believe in the miracle, you will grow. I'm an example of that. Singing for 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' is a miracle for the way it happened and the way I experienced it," says the singer. I had families from abroad visiting me and as always they love to shop for Indian goods, specially Idols of their Gods, in which they believe deeply and of course, if you’re in India so you buy Indian stuff. During one of this shopping, i was also part of it and all of sudden my eye fell on a beautiful Krishna Idol. It was so attractive, that I could not take my eyes off it. Being a Mata devotee, I still found, that I have to bring him with me and for always… So I brought him home. When praying i asked him, that now you have to show me something, since i have not brought Durga Maa, but You, The biggest Ruler of the universe and made Arjuna as winner of Mahabharata…

And believe or not, within 2 days i got a call from M.M. Keeravani (M M Kreem) from Hyderabad to sing for him after a decade… I thought to be a South music director, certainly, I have to sing a Telugu song, which of course I love to do it. But no… it was the song for Bahubali 2. and what song.. this is the miracle of Krishna. The song is about Krishna Himself. The heroin in the movie plays in the Mandir with her saheliyan and during the pray, she goes into a thought of her lover Bahubali, but her friends alert her that she has to sing for Krishna.

I believe that this miracle happened with me and I lived with it. My belief in Krishna has grown. I asked him and he gave me his song.

Music maestro Amit Mishra is going places in Bollywood

After having won a lot of accolades for his music compositions in the past — films like Athithi Tum Kab Jaaoge, Machli Jal Ki Rani Hai and Guest In London (which is slated for release on June 16, 2017), the versatile music maestro Amit Mishra is now working hard on various independent releases and a web series, besides popular TV series like Diya Aur Baati Hum Season 2 (Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji), Khatmal E Ishq, Dafa 420 and Lapataganj.

Amit Mishra has composed for two songs in the movie Guest in London. Incidentally, Amit Mishra, who has also had the proud privilege of composing music for Athithi Tum Kab Jaaoge, has also sung for Guest in London along with Sumeet Anand and Navendu Tripathi, besides writing the lyrics with Navendu Tripathi.

The uniqueness of Amit Mishra's music lies in his innate ability to strike the right chords of fusion: world music with the traditional folk components. He uses the natural dynamics of the song and it's environment to include a variety of sounds, leaving its audience with the 'exact' magical moments and feelings as echoed by the composition. We look forward to his upcoming compositions and wish him our best for the future.

Dr L Subramaniam was invited to a special reception hosted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace in honour of India, to mark the start of the UK-India Year of Culture

As a part of the UK-India Year of Culture 2017, Dr L Subramaniam was one among several celebrities to have been nominated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The event was hosted by Queen Elizabeth II in Buckingham Palace. Ambi Subramaniam told that my dad Dr L Subramaniam performed and closed the cultural festival of India at UK 2017 Festival with the London Symphony Orchestra and premiered a new symphony called The Bharat Symphony. Dr L Subramaniam also thanked the Prime Minister for nominating him for the culture event. The UK-India of Culture 2017, which was led by finance minister Arun Jaitley, saw the presence of several dignitaries including Kapil Dev, Kamal Hassan, Manish Malhotra, Suresh Gopi and Gurdas Mann.

The first song from the movie 1920 London titled Gumnaam was launched yesterday amongst much fanfare.Present at the launch were the lead pair of the film Sharman Joshi and Meera Chopra along with music composer Pritam.Also present at the occasion were debutant composers Akash and Kaushik who were introduced by Pritam to the media.

Recently, the talented singer Mika Singh was spotted at the shoot of the promotional song ‘Ishq Karle Anytime’ from the movie Santa Banta Pvt Ltd.

Director Akashdeep Sabir was also present on the set.

Rhythm's Grand Musical evening with Junoon's Salman Ahmad and Sunidhi Chauhan
