X Men - This superhero film which started in 2000 has been one of the most loved franchises. In fact, it has been the 14th highest grossing franchise of all time. The franchise will continue in the coming two years as well as with the sequel to X-Men: Days of Future Past entitled X-Men: Apocalypse in 2016, along with a Deadpool spin-off film with a third Wolverine film following in 2017.

Oscar winning 'Star Wars The Force Awakens' actress Lupita Nyongo felt invisible because of her skin color!

Oscar winning actress Lupita Nyong'o  who is all set to play a 100 year old alien in the much awaited Star Wars the Force Awakens releasing on 25th December says that that she didn't see other dark-skinned women in the media, which made her feel invisible in the past!

 

While promoting Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Lupita said "If you turn on the television and you are not represented on that television, you become invisible to yourself. And there was very little of myself that I saw on TV, or in the movies that I was watching, or in magazines that were lying around the salons or around the house. And so these are subconscious things. Yes, Western beauty standards are things that affect the entire world," she explains. "And then what happens? You're a society that doesn't value darker skin."

"People would stop and take pictures of us just because we were black," the 32-year-old revealed. "And it was a time during that tricky adolescent phase when you're coming into yourself and you're trying to pave your own way but you're insecure about where you lie. It devastated me."

जैसा की सभी जानते हैं देश मे ही नही बल्कि विदेशों में भी कपिल का कॉमेडी शो हिट हो रहा है। पिछले दिनों मुंबई में  "रशियन फिल्म डेज मुंबई" हुआ . इसी दौरान रूस से आये सभी कलाकारों में कपिल के शो में जाने का विशेष उत्साह था विशेष कर वहां की हीरोइनों में,  जो हीरोइनें वहां गयी उनमें सयोरा सफारी, ओल्गा जयत्सेवा और एना चुरिना प्रमुख थी। जिस शो में ये सभी रूस की अभिनेत्रियाँ गयी वहां रणवीर कपूर भी आये थे.  

सयोरा सफारी ने बताया कि हम सभी को बहुत मज़ा आया. हालांकि शो हिंदी में था लेकिन फिर भी हम सभी ने  खूब मजे किये और खूब हँसे।

Tuesday, November 10 / Beijing, China –  In addition to breaking box office records across the globe, SPECTRE, the 24^th James Bond adventure, has been awarded a Guinness World Records™ title for the Largest Film Stunt Explosion, it was announced today at a press conference in Beijing, China.  SPECTRE, from Albert R. Broccoli’s EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, opens in China this week.

Producer Barbara Broccoli and stars Daniel Craig and Léa Seydoux – who appear in the scene – accepted the record certificate on behalf of the official title holder, Academy Award® winner Chris Corbould, who served as Special Effects and Miniature Effects Supervisor on SPECTRE.

The incredible explosion was filmed for a pivotal scene in the film and took place on June 29, 2015 in Erfoud, Morocco and used 8418 litres of fuel and 33kg of explosives.

Commenting on the announcement, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, the producers of SPECTRE, said, “It is absolutely tremendous that the Guinness World Records have recognized Chris Corbould’s incredible work in Spectre in which he created the largest explosion ever in film history.”

Guinness World Records Editor-in-Chief Craig Glenday added: “The James Bond movies are synonymous with pushing cinematic boundaries. The latest film, Spectre, has again captured the imagination of global cinemagoers, and this will certainly be due in part to the phenomenal stunts. The scene featuring the world’s largest film stunt explosion is spectacular and will live long in the memory as one of the outstanding moments in the Bond franchise.”  The Largest Film Stunt Explosion is an early front runner for inclusion in Guinness World Records 2017, out next year. The 2016 edition is currently on sale.
