Aamir Khan Gives The Mahurat Clap For Total Dhamaal!

Superstar Aamir Khan who has worked with renowned filmmaker Indra Kumar for multiple box office hits gave the mahurat clap for 2018s much awaited comic caper Total Dhamaal!! The shooting of Total Dhamaal commenced today in Mumbai and Aamir graced the shoot with his presence for the very first day! 

While Anil Kapoor directed the shot and director Indra Kumar assisted him, Madhuri Dixit switched on the camera and the mahurat shot took place with the presence of everyone including Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Boman Irani, Javed Jaffery and Sanjay Mishra. 

The hugely awaited laugh riot also has a casting coup with the hit duo Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit joining Ajay Devgn in the film. Total Dhamaal will also see the return of the comic gang of Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi and Javed Jaffrey along with Boman Irani. 

Presented by Fox Star Studios, Total Dhamaal is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Ashok Thakeria, Markand Adhikari, Anand Pandit and Fox Star Studios and is directed by Indra Kumar.

Deepak Dobriyal Turned Hariyanvi tutor for his co-stars

While shooting for the song “Swagpur ka Choudhary” a breakbeat meets funk rock track with Haryanvi lyrics, the actors found the song difficult to connect with and were not able to bring out the essence of it. That’s when Deepak Dobriyal, who plays a gangster in the film, came to their rescue and explained the meaning and the feel of the song post which the actors could easily slip into the mood. 

Kaalakaandi marks Saif Ali Khan’s 60th Film

The very versatile actor Saif Ali Khan has spent 25 years in Bollywood entertaining his audiences with some of his best films like Dil Chahta Hai, Salaam Namaste, Omkara, Being Cyrus, etc is set to mark his 60^th film with Kaalakaandi.

Karan Kundrra learns to play the piano for 1921

Karan Kundrra will be seen opposite Zarine Khan in Vikram Bhatt’s next horror venture, 1921. In the recently released song of the movie, ‘Sunn Le Zara’ Karan Kundrra is seen playing the piano.

Interestingly, Karan spent three months learning to play the piano and to prep for his role in 1921.

The actor said that the piano was one of those musical instruments, which he always wanted to learn. He took classes from one of the renowned piano teachers in town before heading to London to shoot for the film. Adding to that there was initially going to be someone on the deck just in case, but it was never needed. Looks like Karan is already setting bars for himself.

Veerey Ki Wedding to release on 9th March 2018!

Veerey Ki Wedding starring Pulkit Samrat, Jimmy Shergill and Kriti Kharbanda is all set to hit the theatres on 9th March 2018.

This Bollywood rom-com is directed by Ashu Trikha and also stars Satish Kaushik, Supriya Karnik, Rajesh Bakshi, Yuvika Choudhary in pivotal roles.

The film has been extensively shot in NCR Delhi.

Selling sex in Bollywood is dead says Vikram Bhatt, director of 1921

 

Earlier when horror films would be made in Bollywood, it was assumed that the movie would have sex scenes attached to it. However, over the years, the movie-going audience has evolved and since there is a lot of pornographic and adult content available online, they are just looking for meaty content in films, a film that will leave them entertained till the end. If a filmmaker today makes a horror flick, he knows that he will not be able to fool the audience by making an erotic film.  

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt who is all set to give the audience his next horror flick 1921 says, “Selling sex in Bollywood is dead. The genre ‘horrex’ does not exist anymore. Sex  is out of horrex, its only horror now.” And hence, director Vikram made sure that he gives the audience what they actually want to see. 

He further adds,“In fact, data providers have killed the sex market because porn is more accessible now, hence 1921 is high in content and not sex. Hence, when the audience goes to watch this film, they will be in for pure entertainment and nothing else.”

1921, which is all set to hit the theatres on 12th January 2018, starring Zareen Khan and Karan Kundra in lead roles, promises to curb our horror cravings with its horror content and gripping storyline.

The film Is an out and out, the edge of the seat horror, like what we have seen and loved in any Vikram Bhatt film. 

SANJAY NARVEKAR to do a CAMEO in JOHNY LEVER’s PARTNERS – TROUBLE HOGAYI DOUBLE On SABTV

Sanjay Narvekar will appear in a CAMEO in Johny Lever’s PARTNERS-Trouble Hogayi Double alongside Kiku Sharada & Vipul Joshi. Sanjay is doing a Cameo of a deadly Psycho Criminal “Chhota Bunty” who escapes from Jail and threatens to kill Commissioner Gogol Chattarjee (Johnny Lever), because he had arrested him 5 years back.

Aditya (Vipul Roy) and Manav (Kiku Sharada) are given the case by the Commissioner and put Chotta Bunty behind bars before he kiss the commisoner. After many twits & turns and a comedy chase finally Chotta Bunty is caught but not before he threating the Commissioner that he will soon escape again kill him.  These special episodes will be telecast on Jan 8/9/10 on SABTV at 9.30pm. PARTNERS – Trouble Hogayi Double is Produced By Paritosh Painter.

Aditya Thackerey launched logo & theme track of Veer Marathas

  At the glittering event held at south Mumbai hotel Aditya Thackeray launched the logo and theme track of Veer Marathas. This is the team of wrestlers and formed for Pro Wrestling League in which six franchise teams are participating.

 

                          Speaking on this occasion Aditya Thackerey  said,''wrestling is the very old sport in Maharashtra. The country's first Olympian medalist in wrestling was from Maharashtra. This sport is part of the glorious tradition of Maharashtra and the name of this team reminds the spirit of Maharashtra. The logo of the team has atiger in it and our party logo to has a tiger. Seeing this I am sure this team will emerge a winner in the arena. With the arrival of franchisee sports in India, it is a good sign for sportspersons. IPL gave many players to Indian cricket team so will Pro Wrestling League to provide .platform to budding wrestlers''. 

                  The wrestling of this league starts from January 9 at Delhi and the wrestlers of Veer Marathas were also present at this event of launching. Sarvan (57 kg), Amit Dhankar (65 kg),  Praveen Rana (74 kg), Ritu Phogat (50 kg) and Ritu Malik (62 kg) were present and all were very happy hearing cheering words from Aditya.

Varun Dhawan, who's an ardent fan of Dwayne Johnson hosted a screening of The Rock's latest blockbuster film 'Jumanji : Welcome to the Jungle'.

Also, present at the screening were Badrinath Ki Dulhaniya director Shashank Khaitan, actor Kartik Aaryan and few other friends.

singer and actor Navraj Hans was invited as a guest in serial Diwane Anjane

Specially decorated space with twinkling lights, flowers and colourful cloth drapes were put around in every nook and corner of the studio set. In the central hall, a huge TV set was put up to welcome singer actor Navraj Hans. He played a guest character in serial where he sang some film songs.

Sunny Deol joins Karan Kapadia in his Debut Film

Dimple Kapadia's nephew and late actress-designer Simple Kapadia’s son Karan Kapadia, is all set to make his Bollywood debut in 2018. Karan, the youngest member of the Kapadia family will be seen in Tony Dsouza and Vishal Rana’s (Echelon productions) untitled film. Joining the action-packed entertainer,  which is being directed by Behzad Khambata is Sunny Deol who will be seen playing a pivotal role. 

Confirming the news Tony D’Souza who is jointly producing the film with Shrikant Bhasi (Carnival group), Nishant Pitti (EaseMyTrip.com) and Vishal Rana (Echelon productions) said "When Behzad finished the script, he felt Sunny was apt for a particular role. Behzad is a huge fan of Mr Deol and has grown up watching his films."

The film goes on the floor today,  marking Karan Kapadia's day one of the shoot. The entire film is set in Mumbai and would wrap up the shoot by April-end.
