From Tamma Tamma to Tamatoa, Bappi da goes Hollywood!

The original Disco King of Indian music has his sights set on Hollywood with the upcoming much-awaited Hollywood musical film Moana. Bappi Lahiri has entertained generation after generation with his foot tapping music, and now he is back with “Shona”. The Shiny Singer croons his way into Disney’s next fun adventure animated gem – Moana with a song called “Shona” (Gold). Could it be apter?
Following the tremendous success of Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar’s reprisal of “Jungle Jungle Baat Chali Hai!” and the Hindi localized version of “Bare Necessities” featuring Vishal Dadlani, the studio is all set to localize their forthcoming film Moana and has collaborated with Bappi da to voice the dialogues and sing for the character of Tamatoa, a giant crab with a fondness for shiny treasures found which he hoards!
Confirms the Studio, “At Disney India, we believe that audience will always enjoy a movie that they find a connect with. The Jungle Book songs were such a highlight for our campaign and now with Moana as well, we wanted to retain the fun of this character and his song and Bappi Da was happy to voice it and sing for the movie ! Bappi da is someone who has fans across age groups and he is just a perfect fit for the character and the song! Moana is a movie we are extremely excited about. The movie is a fun-filled adventurous journey and we can't wait for the audience to meet Moana, Maui and Tamatoa. " said Amrita Pandey, VP, Studios, Disney India.
Speaking of this collaboration, Bappi Da said, “My family and I have been big fans of Disney. From its characters to its music, it has always been iconic. It’s a great pleasure to associate with Moana. I am always looking forward to doing new things. This is the first time I’m dubbing for an animated character and I had a lot of fun doing that. The character that I play is very similar to my own personality. I am hoping that people will enjoy this avatar of mine and shower their love on me like they have always done. It’s truly a ‘golden’ memory”
Moana stars Auli’i Cravalho as the titular heroine and Dwayne Johnson as Maui. Moana showcases the life-changing journey of a tenacious 16-year-old who teams up with the mighty demigod Maui to fulfill an ancient quest.

Pooja Chopra is very excited with the response for her acting in Neeraj Pandey short film Ouch

The first call that came from Neeraj pandey himself had me most exited and dancing through the day. He's one the directors I have tremendous respect for and have always wanted to work with , so there was no way I would have let this opportunity pass me than the added pressure was to perform to the best of my ability. It wasn't easy knowing the fact that an actor like Manoj Bajpayee is who I would be sharing screen space with , and film would be directed by Neeraj Pandey. Although a short , I knew and was determined to do my best, cold feet and nervous at first but then you tell yourself this is not the time to be nervous it's time to prove yourself , exactly what I had told myself before the Miss India pageant .

Neeraj sir is an institution in himself , the few days of workshop and shoot itself had me in complete awe of him the way he thinks is what makes him who he is. He guided me through the process there was so much to learn from him and I tried to  soak in as much as I could.

Manoj Bajpayee although a senior and a seasoned actor made me feel at ease , passion for the craft and dedication is what shines through him.
I feel extremely fortunate to have worked with such stalwarts in my career . At the moment everyone's positive reaction to the film is what's keeping me happy and beaming with joy  :) :).

Neha Sharma's 41 day old baby bump

Pregnancy is one of the most beautiful phase of a woman's life. Well, it's not an easy as it sounds though.
Well, Neha Sharma, the leading lady of Anubhav Sinha's Tum Bin 2 had one of the best experiences of the shoot yet a gruelling one. She had to shoot for a 41 day schedule at Scotland with a heavy Prosthetic belly, which gave a tough time to Neha.
Initially, just a day old shoot but for some reason the shoot panned out for 41 days. It was done merely to get the perfect shot and yes the hard-work indeed paid off.
The '41 day pregnancy' which had a massive take on Neha's health didn't refrain her form giving her a good performance.
Well, it's for nothing the say it just comes naturally to a woman.
Tum Bin 2, jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha, who has also written & directed, will release on 18th November 2016.

Tum Bin 2's 007 connection

'Tum Bin 2', the romantic saga is already creating waves across the country and fans are eagerly awaiting for the film's release. And now there is something  more that all the fans can watch out for in the film.

The quintessential romantic sequence, had to have the best location to go along the mood of the film. Although it was a difficult challenge for the makers of the film to create a perfect romantic aura for the film, Anubhav Sinha, the director of the film, while doing the recce, drove for several hours from Glasgow to Glencoe in search of a suitable venue in Scotland.

Coincidentally, he chose the same spot that was used to film a dramatic sequence for 'Skyfall' that starred Daniel Craig and Judi Dench. The scene in 'Tum Bin 2' features newcomer Aditya Seal, who did not want to miss the opportunity of taking a picture at the iconic spot. The sequence was shot on a bright sunny day with clear skies unlike the one with dreary sky in 'Skyfall'. The popular road is now called the 'Skyfall road'.

As Anubhav recollects, it was one of the most memorable experience of the entire shoot schedule.

Tum Bin 2, which is  jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha, who has also written & directed the film is set to release on 18th November 2016.

Murli Sharma Dubs In Three Languages For Tutak Tutak Tutiya

This is probably a first for Bollywood. Versatile actor Murli Sharma has dubbed his own dialogues in Hindi, Tamil,

and Telegu in the upcoming trilingual feature releasing on October 7.
The three separate versions - Tutak Tutak Tutiya (Hindi), Devi (Tamil) and Abhinetri (Telegu) - feature Sonu Sood, Prabhu Deva, Tamannaah and Murli Sharma in common but otherwise have a different cast.
The film (or films) is billed as a horror-comedy with Sonu playing a film star and Murli his slightly sycophantic manager.
In multilingual, the same scene has to be shot separately n simultaneously for each language, but most actors are not multilingual so dubbing artists fill the gap .However Director A L Vijay during shooting, after every scene of the Tamil version he would praise Murli's Tamil diction and joke that Murli should dub his own voice. However what started as a joke became serious and Murli ended up dubbing his own dialogues in all three versions. "Tamil definitely was tough but I am glad I did it."smiles Murli who's also dubs his own Marathi n Telugu films.Ask him what next."well I hv heard a Gujrati n a Kannada film script.let's see" he says
