Shri Ravindra Jain, who was an influence, inspiration and guidance to people of all walks of life. His presence will always be felt and absence be missed. Dada’s art, his music, his lyrics as well as his attitude towards life, we would like to keep alive in the minds of his fans and his well wishers.
We wish to continue his work and keep his legacy alive, hence on the February 28, we would be organizing an event in his memory at Iskon auditorium,juhu and would like to start an award in his name which would be presented by the Ravindra Jain Academy of Music and Fine Arts.The Ravindra jain Academy Award would be presented to lyricist, Music Director and a Singer. On the birth anniversary of Ravindra Jain, we would not only be celebrating his birthday, but also his contribution towards the society.
Shri Ravindra Jain Ji was not only an amazing music director, but also a brilliant singer and lyricist, as we have been witness to his work. Keeping this fact in mind, we are presenting the award to three different artists who are known and valued for their work in these fields. After great discussion and deliberation amongst a jury of respected individuals, a decision has been made.The awards are to be presented to:- The Legendary Music Director Duo: Shri Shiv Kumar Sharma and Shri Hari Prasad Chaurasiya Ji- Renowned Playback and Classical singer : Shri Suresh Wadkar Ji Renowned Lyricist: Shri Yogesh Gaur Ji.
